Opening

Hello everybody! 

 

This is going to be a blog about the novel "Slam" by Nick Hornby. We`ll read this book in the following weeks in school and I´ll publish my feelings, thoughts and emotions about it here.   

 

When I first heard about writing a blog about a book, I was skeptical. Is that what I want to do while reading? I wasn´t sure... But it also seems like a fun idea because we all can just follow each other up and enjoy reading the different blogs. 

The blurb on the back page of the book sounds pretty interesting. A sixteen years old boy who meets the perfect girl. Love story of the year.. But then something really bad happens to them and his life changes. Totally. 

I´m kind of excited to start reading the book now because I think there might be lots of parallels to our actual life. Let´s see... 

I don´t know if anyone besides my teacher and maybe some of my classmates is going to read this blog, but if, I would be happy to read some comments underneath :)
