parent´s reaction - chapter 9°

Hey guys, 

I´m going to publish in today´s post what we did in class last time. It is about the parent´s reaction to Alicia´s pregnancy in chapter 9. 

How Alicia´s parents react:
- dad starts shouting (page 138, line 16)
- mum starts crying (page 138, line 23)
- dad claims they´re too young (page 139, line 26)
- mum thinks Sam hates them for getting her daughter pregnant (page 139, line 31)
- they care primarily about Alicia (page 144, line 31)
- they are scared about Alicia´s future 

How Sam´s mum reacts:
- first, she says nothing
- she shows a more and more shocked and worried face (page 143, line 18)
- she starts crying and claims Sam has hurt her (page 144, line 4)
- she reacts ironically / sarcastically (page 144, line 8)
- she wants to convince Alicia not to keep the baby (page 145, line 6)
- she realizes that she becomes a grandmother 

How Sam´s dad reacts (page 149):
- he calls Sam names
- he starts laughing
- he offers his help
