the all-changing news - chapter 5°

Hey everybody! 

This is going to be about chapter 5 and it´s a short summary and a phone dialogue as an optional task.

 

Good news: I´m still alive. I´m currently on holiday so I´m not doing much for school. I´m busy with enjoying my free time and having fun.  

Sam receives the message “I NEED 2 C U URGENT Axx” (page 71, line 28) from Alicia at the day of his birthday. They meet because Sam recognizes the importance and Alicia presses for the meeting. She tells him that she´s late with her period and that she wants to buy a pregnancy test together with him.  But they don´t have enough money, so Alicia leaves again to get some money. Sam is supposed to wait for her but he runs away. 

This is going to be a possible phone call between the two of them later that day.

A is Alicia
S is Sam

A: Sam?
S: Oh hi, Alicia…
A: Where have you been?
S: What do you mean?
A: You were supposed to wait because we wanted to buy the test together.
S: Me?
A: Yes. You. Why didn´t you wait for me?
S: I don´t know.
A: Yes, you do. I want an answer.
S: I don´t have one.
A: You can´t handle me like that, Sam. That´s not ok.
S: Sorry.
A: Do you at least want to know what the result of all this was?
S: Oh. Yeah, tell me.
A: As I already thought…
S: So you mean…you´re definitely…
A: Pregnant. Right. Do you want to talk? Cause´ my head is filled up with lots of questions…
S: Yeah, OK.
A: So tomorrow at 11 am at my house?
S: Alright.
A: We´re getting a baby together. That´s so unbelievable… I can´t wait to hear what you´re going to say about it.
S: Yeah, bye.
A: Bye, Sam. See you tomorrow.
